A native of Auburn, Stephen Spooner grew up hunting and exploring rural Alabama land. Before joining John Hall & Company, Stephen spent three years learning the land business with Tolleson Land Investment Properties in Perry, Georgia, one of the largest privately owned timber and land companies in Georgia. His love for rural land has drawn him to this career and this company.
“Promoting the highest and best use of property while maintaining good stewardship practices both from the standpoint of an outdoorsman and a businessman” is something that Stephen believes in strongly.
”We are all instilled with a God given connection to the land through our original nature to thrive on it. Land is unique in its very existence as are the people we relate to every day. Every person and every piece of land is worth getting to know, my job is to connect those people with that property that meets their needs and fulfils the purpose of the land”.
Stephen is based out of Montgomery where he and his wife Sarah Barry (a nurse at Jackson Hospital) live. When he is not selling land Stephen can be found in a tree stand, on the lake or simply spending time at home with Sarah Barry.
